(Thanksgiving five years ago, the first time I took B to the States for Thanksgiving.)
Thanksgiving is the one holiday that I really do miss while living outside of the States. It's definitely my favorite of all holidays. In my family, it's a laid back day of parades, movies, and the wonderful smells of Thanksgiving dinner wafting through the house! Then of course there are the leftover turkey sandwiches, YUM!
Sadly, I had to work today (and with a nasty cold, at that!). My class kept me entertained throughout the morning though, by remembering it was my favorite holiday and wishing me a "Happy thank you day"!
