Another week, another book! I don't know what I'm going to do when the weather gets too cold to float in the pool and read. Of course, here in southern Alabama that's still months off, so I won't start stressing about it quite yet!

This week's book was Finding Audrey by our favorite Shopaholic series author, Sophie Kinsella. I had absolutely no idea what this book was about when I downloaded it onto my Kindle. Basically, I was perusing Amazon and saw that Kinsella had a new release, so into my cart it went. I've loved the Shopaholic series as well as all of Kinsella's other books (including the ones she's written under her real name, Madeleine Wickham), so how could I go wrong?
Well, this book is quite different from Kinsella/Wickham's other works. Firstly, it's a young adult novel. That doesn't bother me in the slightest since some of my favorite books are YA novels (hello Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Divergent!) It also focuses on much more serious subject matter as the main character, Audrey suffers from terrible anxiety. Despite the more serious feel of the book (it's nowhere near as silly as the Shopaholic or other books) I found it enjoyable and it kept me turning the pages - or rather, tapping the screen!
My final word...Finding Audrey is definitely worth reading, but just don't expect anything like Kinsella's other works.
