In July of 2010 my mom and brother came over to Japan for a visit. Bryn and I were still living in Yosano at the time (we had just gotten married!!). We kept them on the go for the whole of their visit touring around Tokyo, visiting Hiroshima and taking a tour of the Mazda factory, spending a day with the deer on Miyajima, wandering through the streets of Kyoto and visiting friends in our home region of Tango. Since it was summer, we made sure to hit up our fair share of beer gardens and play with sparklers on the beach, as well.
Looking through these photos makes me miss Japan in summer! Sure it was HOT and HUMID, and we were all crammed into our tiny apartment, but it was such a fun visit.
